What we believe.

Our beliefs.

“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.”

— 2 Timothy 3:16-17

This is what we believe. If you have questions please don’t hesitate to ask.

The Bible
The Holy Bible is God's revelation to man, and all of Scripture is inspired and authoritative. Scripture is without error, is totally true, and is complete. Nothing is to be added to Scripture and nothing is to be taken away.

Jesus Christ (God the Son)
Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. He was born of a virgin and lived on this earth as the only perfect human, both fully God and fully man. He died on the cross for our sins, was buried and rose from the dead. He is at the right hand of God and acts as our High Priest and Advocate.

Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God and is fully divine.  The Holy Spirit convicts us of sin, enables us to understand truth, cultivates spiritual maturity in our lives, teaches us, comforts us, provides assurance, bestows spiritual gifts, empowers us to serve, seals us, and gives us boldness and courage for carrying out God's work.

Man
Man is created in the image of God with meaning and purpose. Because man is made in God's image, all men and women are to be treated with dignity and respect. Man has rebelled against God and is guilty of sin. All have sinned and fall short of God's glory, resulting in broken fellowship with God. Jesus dies on the cross for our sins and only through Jesus can we be forgiven and our broken relationship restored.

Salvation
Salvation is the work of grace that cannot be earned. Jesus Christ, who was sinless, dies for our sins. Jesus Christ alone was the perfect sacrifice for our sins, and only through Him is there salvation. There is no salvation apart from Jesus Christ. If you repent of your sins and put your faith in Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and Lord, He will forgive you for your sins and give you eternal life. All true believers receive the gift of the Holy Spirit and have the assurance that their salvation is complete and eternal.

The Church
The Church consists of all true believers in Jesus Christ. Christians should meet together regularly for worship, prayer, teaching, The Lord's Supper, and Fellowship. Scripture is complete and sufficient; therefore, it should serve as a guide for the Church practice and government. Christians are commanded to observe the following church ordinances: The Lord's Supper and Baptism by immersion for those who have entered into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
